Ethel Murphy Todd, age 85, of 304 Jacobs Hwy. went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 25, 2009 in the NHC of Clinton.
Mrs. Todd was widowed by two husbands, Johnnie S. Murphy and Theodore B. Todd.
She was born in Greenville County and was a daughter of the late Walter Lee and Anne Bell Bryant Campbell.
She retired from Torrington Bearings Company and served as a foster Grandparent working in Eastside Elementary for 12 years and was a member of the Rock Bridge Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a son, Steve Murphy and his wife, Norma of Cross Hill; four daughters, Faye M. Bell of Clinton, Ann Tucker of Laurens, Betty Martin and husband, Randy of Clinton and Patsy Hamilton of Simpsonville; a brother, David Campbell of Fork Shoals; four sisters, Ruth Jordon and Shelby Evans both of Greer, Madeline Taylor of Simpsonville and Carolyn Bagwell of Prosperity; 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Rock Bridge Presbyterian Church with interment in the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at their respective homes.
