Eugene "Pete" Estes

Eugene “Pete” Estes age 72 of 407 Meadow Road, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 in the Hospice House of Laurens County.
Mr. Estes was born in Laurens, SC and was the son of the late Jack and Daisy Hellams Estes.
He was the owner of Top Builders Construction Company and a member of Lucas Avenue Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Estes of the home; two sons, Richie E. Estes of Charleston, Tony and wife Lisa Estes of Beaufort; a daughter, Darlene Estes of Laurens; a sister, Mary E. Evans of Cabool, MO; five grandchildren, Andy Lancaster, Corey Lancaster, Hayden Estes, Shelby Estes and Grace Estes.
Mr. Estes was predeceased by a sister, Rebecca E. Templeton.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 28th at 11:00 a.m. in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice House of Laurens County, P.O. Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325.
