Eunice Marie (Stucker) Edgeman, age 95, the widow of her loving husband of 66 years of marriage, Howard Curtis Edgeman, passed away Friday at her home in Mountville, South Carolina. She was born August 24, 1928, in Topeka, Kansas and was the daughter of the late Nathan Arnold and Bernice (Johnson) Stucker.
She is survived by two sons, both of Hays, Kansas, Harry Arnold Edgeman and Ricky Lee Edgeman (Julie) and one daughter, Patricia Edgeman Watts (Scott) of Mountville, South Carolina. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Marcia (Varner) Edgeman. She was also predeceased by her five siblings. Eunice spent her childhood in Paonia, Colorado before marrying and settling in Pueblo, Colorado. She and her husband operated a very successful drycleaning business. She was the face behind the counter that everyone loved, a conversationalist and a confidant to young and old alike.
She was the grandmother of eight grandchildren, Michael Edgeman, Greg Watts (Lynn), Justin Watts (Juli), Ryan Watts (Kim), Emily Russell, Grant Edgeman (Audrey), Stephen Edgeman, and Emily Banks-Edgeman. She was also the grandmother of 16 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 4 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Clinton, South Carolina with Rev. Chad Reynolds and Rev. J. Allie McNider officiating. The family will receive family and friends in the sanctuary after the service.
Gray Funeral Home of Clinton is assisting the Edgeman family with services.
