Eva Smith Wesley was born in Laurens County, South Carolina on June 19, 1936 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Jonathon Smith. She was the last of her siblings and peacefully departed this earthly life on May 18, 2014 in her home. She attended Bell Street High School and was a homemaker.
She leaves to cherish fond memories, three daughters Susan I. Wesley and Vicki T. Wesley of the home and Sarah L. Davis (Willie R.) of Clinton, SC; one son, Ludie G. Wesley (Ramona Garrett) of Clinton, SC; two grandchildren Joshua C. Wesley of Clinton, SC and Ivan D. Wesley of Spartanburg, SC; three great-grandchildren Kimora A. Wesley, Landon A. Wesley and Sasha J. Wesley, all of Clinton, SC; her brother-in-law Johnny L. Wesley (Beatrice) of Clinton, SC; a devoted nephew Terry Conner (Ninette “Bonnie”) of Mauldin, SC; and a devoted niece Mary Conner of Clinton, SC and other family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 20th at 2:00 p.m. at Orchard Park Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends following the service at the home.
The family wishes to thank the staff’s of Hospice Care of The Piedmont; Laurens Memorial Hospital and Self Regional Healthcare for their compassionate care provided to their mother.
