Eva Pitts, age 102 died Saturday, Dec. 26th at the Presbyterian Community of SC in Clinton.
She was born in Carroll County, and was a daughter of the George and Sally Storey.
Mrs. Pitts was a former teacher and member of the Duncan Creek Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are one son, David Pitts, Jr. of Clinton; two daughters, Jane Cobb Smith and husband, Vinnie of Clinton, Sallie Floyd and husband, Fred of Eatonton, GA., grandchildren, Julianne Ward and husband, Johnny of Welsh Pool, Wales, UK, Mollie Flowe and husband, Adam of Durham, NC, Emily C. Pitts of Athens, GA, Tom Pitts and wife, Joanna of Brooklyn, NY, Catherine Smith and husband Gary of Clinton, George P. Cobb and wife Penny of TX; great grandchildren, Ben and James Cobb of TX, Eva, Libby and Charlie Flowe of NC, and Jimmy and Lucy Ward of Wales, UK.
Mrs. Pitts was predeceased by her husband, David T. Pitts, four brothers and two sisters and daughter-in-law, Crystal Pitts.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, Dec. 29th at 3:00 p.m. in the Rosemont Cemetery.
