Evelyn F. Gambrell age 84, widow of William R. “Dub” Gambrell, Sr. of 202 Barnes Road passed away on Wednesday, March 14th at her home.
Mrs. Gambrell was born in Greenwood, SC and was a daughter of the late James C. and Willie Mae Whitten Fuller. She was the Co-Owner of Gambrell’s Jewelry Store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton, serving the church in various roles throughout her life.
She is survived by her son, Robert Gambrell (Teresa) of Waterloo; an adopted daughter, Elaine DeGroot Parker (Jim) of Simpsonville; seven grandchildren, Trey Gambrell, Tyler Gambrell, Taylor Marie Gambrell, Turner Gambrell, Brooks Parker, Blakely Parker and Fuller Parker; eight great grandchildren; a special niece and nephew Anita Butler and Barry Mauldin and her beloved dog, Reigh-Reigh.
She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
