Evelyn Johnston Kennedy age 91, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013
in Shenandoah Junction, WVA.
She was the widow of David Kennedy and was born in Anderson County, SC; was a daughter of the late William G. and Ida Sullivan Johnston.
Mrs. Kennedy was a former employee of Laurens School District 55 and was a member of Shepherdstown Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her son-in-law, Donald Sutherland of Shenandoah Junction, WVA, three grandchildren, Donald Will Kennedy Sutherland of Shepherdstown, Dylan Barkley Sutherland and Graham Lawton Sutherland both of Shenandoah Junction and one sister, Margaret Degerhardt of Hilton Head, SC.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Jane Barkley Sutherland.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in the Due West A. R. P. Church Cemetery in Due West, SC.
