Evelyn C. Starnes, age 83, the widow of A.C. "Bud" Starnes and formerly of 161 Sunset Blvd. died Saturday, February 18th in the Martha Franks Retirement Center.
She was born in Whitmire and was the daughter of Morris Paul and Lucy Crocker Conner.
Mrs. Starnes was a retired pharmacist technician with Whitten Center and a member of Hurricane Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Cynthia Reeder of Greenville; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 PM Sunday, February 19th at Rosemont Cemetery.
