Faye Ward Shue

Faye Ward Shue, age 79, formerly of 257 Skyland Drive, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017, at the NHC of Clinton.
She was born in Burlington, NC, and was a daughter of the late Grantham Lewis and Angela Ward.
Mrs. Shue was a long time employee of Joanna Woodson Elementary School and active member of First Baptist Church who loved her Sunday school class. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and a Christian witness. She was also a member of the Newcomers group and cancer survivor who counseled others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald (Darrell) Shue Sr., and is survived by two sons, Donald Darrell Shue, Jr., and Marcia, of Irmo, SC, and Gregory Ward Shue, and Holly, of Mount Holly, NC; and a daughter, Susan Cauble and Robert, of Clinton; and six grandchildren, Andrew Cauble, Megan Cauble, Sarah Grooms, Ellie Grace Cauble, Amber Shue, and Logan Shue.
She is survived by a sister Saundra Morton, of Burlington, NC and was preceded in death by one brother Grantham “Bucky” Ward.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 14, at 4:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church in Clinton, with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M at the Gray Funeral Home of Clinton.
