Faye Smith Barker

Faye Smith Barker age 92, formerly of 201 Florence Street, Clinton, and a resident of Agape’ of Laurens, died Friday, January 29, 2010 at the Laurens County Hospice.
She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Marcell “Nub” Barker.
She was retired from Clinton Mills and was a member of Springdale United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, A. Carroll Barker and wife, Kathie of Clinton; a brother, Paul L. Smith of Spartanburg; a sister, Virginia S. Spurlock of Hanahan, SC; two grandchildren, Brad Barker and April Lawson, both of Clinton; and two great grandchildren, Madison and Zack Lawson of Clinton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 31st at the Springdale United Methodist Church with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends before the services on Sunday from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the church.
The family will be at the home of her son, Carroll Barker at 205 Lakewood Drive in Clinton.
