Frances O. Evans

Frances O. Evans, 86, widow of James F. “Fireball” Evans, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Langston Place in Clinton.
She was born in Newberry and was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Helen M. Mills O’Dell.
Mrs. Evans enjoyed touring around the county with her husband in their motor home, she loved life, spending time with her family, and her church.
She is survived by her son, James R. Evans (Rita) of Easley; her three grandchildren, Jennifer King, Brian Evans, and Michelle Komski; her seven great-grandchildren, Evan King, Ethan King, Erin King, Christa Evans, Anthony Komski, Gabi Komski, and Alex Komski; and her daughter-in-law, Tammy Jochimsen.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Michael Freeman Evans.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 2:30 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with interment at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
