Frances B. McAlister, formerly of Sullivan St., died Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Greenville. Born in Franklin County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Drew and Susie Jane Clark Hayes. She was retired from Greenwood Mills in Joanna and was a member of the Lydia Mill Church of God.
She is survived by her husband, Adgar McAlister of the home; eight children; one sister; twenty-four grandchildren; forty-five great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two children, one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 15 at 4:00 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton followed by burial at Westview Memorial Park in Laurens. The family will receive friends at Gray Funeral Home of Clinton on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
