Frances G. Bain

Frances G. Bain age 87 of 6429 Whitmire Hwy. died Monday, March 13th at the J. F. Hawkins Nursing Home in Newberry.
She was born in Wattsville, SC and was a daughter of the late Oscar W. and Gladys Bobo Garmon.
Mrs. Bain retired from John Wolf Decorater a division of Cone Mills was a member of the Friendship Club and of the Whitmire United Methodist Church.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are nieces, Shirley Dickert of Whitmire, Tina Griffin of Woodbridge, VA and Gigi Wicker of Union; nephews, Charles Gilliam of Whitmire, Danny Gilliam of Little Mountain, Merle Bumgarner of Morganton, NC and Blane Garmon of Pomaria and a sister-in-law, Julie Garmon.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 17th at 11:00 a.m. in the Whitmire United Methodist Church with burial in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
