Frances Hinson Acheson

Frances Hinson Acheson, age 78 of 3979 Hwy 221 South died Friday, Dec. 4th at the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late John M. and Mary Blake Dickerson.
Mrs. Acheson was a retired employee of the Torrington Bearing Company, a member of the Lydia Baptist Church and attended the Big Mac Club of the New Prospect Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Buddy Hinson of Laurens; three daughters, Kay Lewis of Clinton, Brenda Lilley of Laurens and Marie Ellis of Spartanburg; one sister, Bernice Gallman of Great Falls; ten grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was predeceased by two husbands, Clarence Hinson and Don Acheson; one daughter, Shirley Bond and a brother, Vernon Dickerson.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Dec. 6th at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens with burial in the Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton.
The family will receive friends before the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
