Frances Parkman Roach

Frances Parkman Roach, age 74, of 100 Glendale Dr. and widow of Roy Roach and James “Bo” Parkman died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at her home.
She was born in Greenwood County and was the daughter of the late James “Skinny” and Helen Douglas Gregory.
Mrs. Roach was a retired employee of Clinton Mills and was a member of the Lydia Mill Church of God.
She is survived by two sons, Steve Roach of Clinton and Timothy Roach and his wife, Kathy of Greenwood; five daughters, Helen Pettit and Janice Price, both of Clinton, Judy Blancher and her husband, Gerald of Newberry, Connie Abercrombie and her husband, Wayne of Clinton and Wanda Trevino and her husband, John of Waterloo; a brother, Tom Gregory of Joanna; three sisters, Becky James and Ether Price both of Clinton and Carole Wicker of Joanna; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Jimmy Earl Gregory and Doug Gregory.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Jan Price, 68 Palmetto St.
