Frances Peay Willis, age 79 of 498 Sims St. and widow of Paul L. Willis, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007 in Newberry Co. Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Whitmire and was a retired employee of J. P. Stevens Co. and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, Wendell Willis of Whitmire, one daughter, Paula Reynolds of Prosperity; nine grandchildren, Niele Ferreira, Beth Andrews, Steven Reynolds, Melissa Reynolds, Maria Miller, Ashley Willis, Madison Willis, Wendi Willis and Tyler Willis and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Jan. 5th at 11:00 a.m. in Friendship Baptist Church by Rev. Horace Weathers with burial in Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening at the church from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The family will be at the home of her son, Wendell Willis, 1995 Little Egypt Rd., Whitmire.
