Frank Howard Rowe, age 81 of Joanna and widower of Peggy Edmonds Rowe, passed away at his home Friday, January 5, 2018.
Mr. Rowe was born July 26, 1936 and was a son of the late Gillette and F. C. Rowe. He served in the South Carolina National Guard and was a charter member of the Joanna Fire Department Est. in 1966. He retired from Greenwood Mills. He was a loyal member of the Joanna Men’s Club.
He is survived by a granddaughter, Elizabeth Burns and her husband Tony of the home; two daughters, Starr (Terry) Chilton of Joanna, Angie Rowe of Joanna; a son, David Michael “Mike” Rowe of Clinton. He was a proud Papa to Amy (Steve) Chilton Hill, Joshua (Jennifer) Chilton, Tonya (Steven) Aria, Stacy (Richard) Collins and a Great-Papa to Taylor, Shane, Matthew, Austin, Seth, Chase, Colton, Adynn, Cali, Ashton, Kyrrah, Chloe, Jax, Francie, Kaden and Cole; and sister, Paulette Edmonds of Joanna.
In addition to his wife of 45 years, Mr. Rowe was predeceased by brother and sister in-law Terry and Shirley Rowe and brother in-law Clayton Edmonds and Mother in-law Lucille Brewer.
Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Pinelawn Memory Garden Mausoleum Chapel by Mr. Buddy Bridges. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the Mausoleum Chapel from 2 to 3 PM.
