Frank Howard Smith

Frank H. Smith, age 79 of 50 Ropp St. passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 at his home.
He was born in Oconee County and was a son of the late Louie Howard and Lillie Hattie Gibson Smith.
Mr. Smith retired from the Beattie Plant in Fountain Inn after 35years of service and was a member of the Fountain Inn Church of God of Prophecy. He loved to fish and enjoyed sharing his passion for fishing, he also loved being with his family and church family.
Surviving are his son, Marshall Smith and wife, Betty of Seneca; six sisters, Kathy and Mike Grigg of Shelby, NC, Rev. Jimmy and Martha Rholeter of Westminster, Lola and Ruford Brewer of Seneca, Jean and Bill Turner of Westminster, Juanita Nicholson of Westminster, Edna Denny of Westminster; three grandchildren, Misty Dawn Varanoee, Priscilla Ann Smith and Brandi Nicole Smith and a step granddaughter, Sherrie Louise Cornett.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Todd Smith, a son, Howard Smith and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Nov. 5th at 2:00 p.m. in the Fountain Inn Church of God of Prophecy by Rev. Stephen Christopher with burial in the Gray Court City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the Fountain Inn Church of God of Prophecy, 101 Cannon Ave., Fountain Inn, SC 29644.
The family will be at their respective homes.
