Frankie “Pork Chop” Ginn, age 59 of 2053 Old Milton Rd. died Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Hospice of Laurens County.
He was born in Laurens and was a son of the late Franklin Sherman and Shirley Mae Simmons Ginn.
Mr. Ginn was employed with Presbyterian College for 23 years and attended Broad St. United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Penny Morgan Ginn of the home; two daughters, Heather Elizabeth Ginn of Mt. Pleasant and Ashley Taylor Ginn of Spartanburg; two sisters, Dianne Clarke of Laurens and Tammy Craddock of Honea Path.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Tony Steven Ginn.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 26th at 10:00 a.m. at Broad St. United Methodist Church by Rev. Dr. Kitty Holtzclaw; burial will be in the Rock Bridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, 4-27-11 at 1:00 p.m. at Edmunds Hall and is open to the community as well as the campus.
