Fred Delvis Beckett

Fred Delvis Beckett, age 84, husband of Priscilla Sue Beckett, passed away, Sunday, June 23, 2024 at his home.
He was born on June 18, 1940 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late Olin Vernon and Betty Jean Gresil Beckett. Fred was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in Green Beret Special Forces, receiving a Purple Heart and was awarded the Hall of Hero’s Award that hangs in the Laurens County Courthouse. But we are most proud of the lives he touched in his 32 years of ministry.
In addition to his wife of 62 years, Fred is survived by his children, Kimberly Sue Nalesnik (Mark), Kenneth James Beckett (Jennifer), Keith Vernon Beckett (Melissa), Chelsea Lynn Savage (Michael), Jonathan Beckett, Freddie Beckett; his brothers, Kenneth Robert Beckett (Karen) and Gerald Beckett, his grandchildren, Mark Nalesnik, Maranda Masitto, Katie Nalesnik, Jessica Nalesnik, Daniel Beckett, Hannah Beckett, Eli Beckett, Bradley Beckett and his 14 great-grandchildren.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jean Amos.
The family is not planning any services at this time.
