Fred "Mitch" Dickerson

Fred "Mitch" Dickerson, age 57, formerly of Whitmire, SC, husband of Cindy Tobias Dickerson, passed away, Friday, May 10, 2024, at his home.
He was born November 23, 1966 in Greenwood, SC, and was a son of Donna Brown Dickerson of Clinton, and the late Freddie Dickerson. Mitch was a proud local Pipefitter Union 421 Member. He loved relaxing by the water, Harley motorcycles, and playing guitar. Mitch found his own joy in making others laugh and living by the word of the Lord.
In addition to his wife of the home, Mitch is survived by his sons, Lewis "Louie" Dickerson (Emily) of Summerville, SC, Mitchell Carnes (Shannon) of Louisville, KY; his daughter, Harley Dickerson of Vance, SC; his eight grandchildren; his brother, William "Billy" Dickerson (Crystal) of Clinton; his sister, Diane Harris (Tommy) of Clinton; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, May 13, 2024 at God's Healing Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Tobias and Rev. Jimmy Tobias officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at the church.
The family will be at the home of his sister-in-law, Reba Tobias, 306 Laurens Street, Joanna, SC 29325.
