Fred F. Lowery, age 83, of 300 Bailey St, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at his home.
He was born in Laurens County and was a son of the late Charlie and Geneva Smith Lowery.
Mr. Lowery was retired from Clinton Mills and worked at Kenny’s Car Wash for several years.
He is survived by his sons, Randy Lowery of Cross Anchor and David Lockridge, of Gastonia, NC; his daughters, Natalie Lowery of Laurens and Mary Ann Bowie of Clinton; his daughter-in-law, Cathy Lowery; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ophelia Lowery, his son, Kenny Lowery and his daughter, Janet Simmons.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 18th at 3 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
