Freddrick “Freddie” A. Attaway, age 74, husband of Etta Attaway, passed away, Sunday, October 20, 2024, at his home.
Born October 12, 1950, in Laurens, SC, he was a son of the late Freddrick Robin and Faye Elizabeth Patterson Attaway. Freddie enjoyed bowling and fishing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife of 54 years, Freddie is survived by sons, Bobby Marrow Tucker, Johnny Earl Tucker, and Ronnie Earl Tucker; his daughters, Patty Parish (Billy), Susan Beverley (Erchel), and Belinda Lindler (Randy); his brother, Tony Butler; his grandchildren, Brooks Lee (Heather), Ronnie Johnson (Brigdette), Daniel Lee, Alex Cartee, Melissa Tucker, Destiny Barnett (Michael Lynch), and Megan Scaggs (Robby); and his great-grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Emma Lee, Marley Keisler, Owen Lynch, and Hayden Scaggs.
In addition to his parents, Freddie was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Ray.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with Rev. Gene Wooten officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
