Frederick Sanders Campbell died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 in Nashville, TN following a stroke.
Sandy was born December 13, 1917 in Syenchun, Korea. He graduated from Wheaton College and Faith Seminary. He was a pastor in North Dakota and Tennessee and a missionary in Kenya, E. Africa for 38 years with his late wife Grace McFadden Campbell. He retired to Bailey Manor in Clinton, SC where he was chaplain. He is also pre-deceased by his second wife, Catherine Orr Campbell of Clinton, SC, and his daughter Elizabeth Herron of Chattanooga, TN.
He is survived by three children, Sandra Mason and her husband John Mason of Nashville, TN, David Campbell and his wife Joyce Ribbens Campbell, of Guinea, West Africa and Ruth Jones and her husband, Charlie Jones of Franklin, TN and son-in-law Daniel Herron of Granada, Spain. There are eight Campbell grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and thirteen Orr grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Clinton, Sunday, May 27 at 3PM. Entombment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Laurens.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6-8PM in the chapel at Bailey Manor.
