Fred O. Burnett, Jr.

Fred O. Burnett, Jr., age 82 of 307 Spruce St. died Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
He was born in Clinton and was a son of the late Fred O. Burnett, Sr. and the late Agnes McMinn Burnett.
Mr. Burnett was a former employee of Industrial Supply and retired from Whitten Center. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton, was a US Navy veteran of WWII and member of American Legion Post 56.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Velma Cox Burnett of the home; one son, Reggie (R.C.) Burnett and wife, Pam of Pawley’s Island; one daughter, Lisa B. Senn and husband, James D. Senn of Long Valley, New Jersey and four grandchildren, Blake and Ross Burnett and Rebecca and Lauren Senn.
Mr. Burnett was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and James Burnett.
A memorial service will be conducted Monday, June 8th at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Clinton. The family will greet friends in the church parlor following the memorial service.
