Freeda Taylor Moates Burnett, age 76, passed away Monday, January 09, 2017 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Whitmire, SC and was a daughter of the late Paul Taylor and Louise Patton Taylor Cool.
She was retired from Torrington Bearing Company and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Mrs. Burnett is survived by her son, Leslie Moates of CO; her three brothers, John Cool of Madonna, GA, Jerry Cool of Springfield, FL, Donnie Cool of Charleston, SC; her sister-in-law, Patty Malpass of Chappells; and her brothers-in-law, Kevin Burnett of North Augusta, and Shane Burnett of Greenwood.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by two husbands, Zeke Moates and Dennis Burnett, her son, Tracey Moates, and her sister, Melissa Epting.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11 AM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton, the family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers may be made to the Fairview Baptist Church, 4419 Indian Creek Road, Kinards, SC 29355.
