Gary Devore Bodie

Gary D. Bodie, age 75, of 623 Whitmire Hwy, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013, he was the husband of 57 years to Vera E Bodie, who passed away on April 29, 2013.
He was born in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Frank D. and Martha “Dink” Brown Bodie.
Mr. Bodie was a member and trustee of the Epworth United Methodist Church in Joanna. He was also a retired employee of Clinton Mills, and former employee of Greenwood Mills.
He is survived by his sons, Chuck and Joey Bodie, both of Clinton; his daughters, Rhonda Prater, of Clinton, and Roxane Snelgrove, of Joanna; one brother, George H. Bodie, of Joanna; and one sister, Phyllis Moore, of Thomasville,GA; twelve grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am at Epworth United Methodist Church with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
