Gary Prewitt, age 65, of 507 Browning Ave. and husband of Sandra Kinard Prewitt, went to be with our Lord on March 31st, 2014 at the Laurens County Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio and was the son of the late Charles and Gladys Prewitt.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Larry and Laney Prewitt; daughters Angel (James) Brown and Melissa (Chad) Whitcomb; brother Charles (Cindy) Prewitt; sister Susan Marshall; grandchildren Whitney (Jesse) Hackney, Colby Prewitt, Brandon Prewitt, James Brown, his little buddy Kason Brown, Brianna Prewitt, Erin Whitcomb, Kordell Brown, and Kaley Whitcomb; and three great-grandchildren that he adored.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 3rd from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM with services to follow at 3:00 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with burial at Pinelawn Cemetery.
