Gary V. Barber

Gary V. Barber, age 65 of 268 Lake Road, died Saturday, Jan. 20th at his home.
He was born in Newberry County and was a son of the Late Jimmy Barber, Sr. and Jewel Crisp Barber.
He retired from The Torrington Company after over 40 years of service and was a veteran of the National Guard.
Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandy Barber and Jill and Kit Bailey both of Clinton, one brother, Jimmy Barber, Jr. of Whitmire; two sisters, Vicki Kendrick of Whitmire and Rose Boling of Clinton and three grandchildren, Summer Avinger, Autumn Hurley and Mae Elisabeth Bailey.
He was predeceased by one sister, Virginia Bostic.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home of Clinton.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, Jan. 22nd at 2:00 p.m. in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
