Gene Ray Adair

Gene Ray Adair age 68 of 113 Hawkins Circle, died Thursday, October 8, 2009 at his home.
He was born in Joanna, SC and was a son of the late Marvin and Dorothy Louise Spurgeon Adair.
Mr. Adair was retired from Greenwood Mills, Joanna Plant and in Greenwood.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Baker Adair of the home; three sons, Mike Adair of Tennessee, Randy Tinsley and Tony Tinsley, both of Joanna; a daughter, Sandy Adair Smith of Joanna; a brother, Billy Adair of Maryland; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; and his loyal pets, his cat, Lilly and his dog, Boots.
Mr. Adair was predeceased by a sister, Dollie Meyers.
Cryptside services will be conducted on Saturday, Oct. 10th at 3:00 p.m. by Rev. Dr. Russell Dean at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. before the services on Saturday at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
