Gene Robert Etters, age 53 of 1001 N. Sloan St. died Thursday, May 22nd at his home.
He was born in Clinton and is a son of Ruthie Mae Richardson Etters and the late Robert Lee Etters.
Mr. Etters was employed with National Health Care of Clinton and was a member of the Lydia Church of God.
Surviving are one daughter, Pamela (Tommy) Overstreet of Clinton; three brothers, Billy Ray Etters, Benny Etters, Wayne Etters all of Clinton; five sisters, Penny Lewis, Libby Binns, Louise Hoy, Geraldine Miller, Kim Hodge all of Clinton; one granddaughter, Katie Ann Overstreet; thirteen nieces and nephews, Amanda Etters, Amy Evans, Teresa Hoy, Casey Etters, Heather Llewellyn, Allen Etters, Jessica Lewis, Logan Martin, Ashley Martin, Jeffrey Binns, Jonathan Binns, Lexy Hodge, and Kyle Hodge; fourteen great nieces and great nephews, Shanley Evans, Skylar Evans, Dessie Widner, Abby Widner, Shylin Bryant, Caroline Fowler, Mary Fowler, Blane James, Aiden James, Angel Loftis, Katlynn Llewellyn, Ethan Edwards, Alyssa Binns and Jacob Binns.
He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Ann Etters, and a sister, Diane Etters.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 25th at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
