Geneva Hedgepath Caughman, age 87, widow of Henry A. Caughman, of 100 Jefferson St. died Thursday, October 4, 2007 at her home.
She was born in Clinton and was the daughter of the late John William and Lula Puckett Hedgepath and step mother, Bertie Hedgepath.
Mrs. Caughman was retired from Clinton Mills, a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a volunteer for the Safe Home.
She is survived by two sons, Tracy Caughman of Boone, NC and Tommy Caughman of Clinton; three daughters, Loretta Hanks of Laurens, Janice Taylor of Sunset, SC and Diane Charles of Clinton; a brother, Maxie Hedgepath of Fletcher, NC; three sisters, Essie Garner of Chester, Lessie Donavan of Aiken and Shirley Bannister of Clinton; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Buddy and Leon Hedgepath, three sisters, Irene Adams, Myrtle Whitsel, Vera Foster and 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with interment at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
