Geneva Simmons Noffz, age 84 and widow of John Richard Noffz, died Tuesday, February 5, 2008 in the Fountain Inn Nursing Home.
She was the daughter of the late William Hal and Estelle Taylor Simmons. She lived a happy life and was a retired employee of Bailey Nursing Home.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph L.Vaughn and wife, Betty C. Vaughn of Gaffney and Henry Clarence and wife, Barbara Vaughn of Joanna; one brother, Darrel Simmons of Waterloo; one sister, Joanne Pittman of Augusta, GA, five grandchildren, William Harold Vaughn and Elizabeth of Clinton, Ronnie Vaughn of Gaffney, Mary Jo Vaughn of Manning, Gary Vaughn of Joanna and Sherry Vaughn of Tenn.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Bobby Joe Vaughn.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 9th at 2:00 p.m. in Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rock Bridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
