George Herman Bodie Sr.

George Herman Bodie Sr. age 82, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Springfield Place in Newberry.
He was born in Newberry and was a son of the late Frank Bodie and Martha Brown Bodie. Mr. Bodie was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Joanna’s Men’s Club and was retired from Greenwood Mills.
Mr. Bodie is survived by his two sons, George Bodie, Jr. (Cindy) of Clinton and Tim Bodie (Tammy) of Newberry; his two daughters, Crystal Felker (Garrett) of Chapin and Tina Neaderhiser of Joanna; his six grandchildren, Tabatha Copeland (Heath), Scottie Bodie (Annette), Joey Bodie (Cadie), Jenna Bodie, Alexis Bouknight, Cole Bouknight, and Ella Felker; his eight great-grandchildren; and his sister, Phyllis Moore (Tom) of Thomasville, GA.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brother, Gary Bodie.
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Pinelawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum at 2 PM with Interment at Pinelawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM.
