George William McKittrick, age 80, of 174 AD Drive, Laurens, SC, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015.
Mr. McKittrick was born in Mountville and was a son of George and Frances McKittrick.
He was a member of Ora ARP Church and a member of the US Air Force.
Mr. McKittrick is survived by his wife, Cornelia “Connie” McKittrick; a daughter, Dawn Nelson (James) of Clinton; brothers, Raymond McKittrick (Linda) of Virginia, Harold McKittrick (Nancy) of Anderson, Bobby McKittrick (Barbara) of Belton, and Tommy McKittrick of Fountain Inn; sisters, Gray Barker of Wyoming, Sara Moon of Joanna, and Sylvia Tinsley (Lonnie) of Mountville; and two grandchildren, Aaron Nelson (Lizz) of Greenville and William Nelson of Sumter.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Veronica “Rhonda” Pennington (Larry Pennington), and a brother, Jim McKittrick.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 10th, at 2:00 PM, at Ora ARP Church, with burial in the Ora ARP Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Ora ARP Church Cemetery Fund, 23420 Highway 221, Gray Court, SC 29645.
