George L. Copeland

George L. Copeland, age 72, of 703 Chestnut St. died Thursday, April 15, 2010 at his home.
He was born in Clinton and was the son of Elizabeth Milam Copeland of Clinton and the late Edgar Bowen Copeland.
Mr. Copeland was a cattle farmer and was a member of the Young Farmers Association and the First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Bruner Copeland of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Ellen Bailey Templeton and her husband, Lee of Clinton; a grandson, Grant Thomas Templeton; two brothers, Charles Preston Copeland of Mountville and Eddie Copeland of Jemison, AL.
He was predeceased by a sister, Joanne Copeland Pitts.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church with interment in the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
