George W. "Doodle Bug" Gossett, Jr.

George W. “Doodle Bug” Gossett, Jr. age 61of 446 Bookroom Rd. died Saturday, Oct. 27th at his home.
He was born in Laurens County and was a son of Virginia Lee Gossett Quinn of Clinton and the late George W. Gossett, Sr.
Mr. Gossett was a retired carpenter and member of the Fire Baptized Holiness Church.
Surviving are two sons, George T. Gossett and Michael Lee Gossett both of Kinards; two brothers, Ray Leonard Gossett of Clinton and Aaron Eugene Gossett of Laurens; one sister, Retha Mae Eustice of Clinton and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Allen Daniel Gossett.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Oct. 30th at 4:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
