Gerald F. “Booger” Shealy, Sr. age 69 of 204 Banna St. died Sunday, August 2, 2009 at his home.
He was born in Newberry and was a son of the late Frank M. and Helen May Shealy.
Mr. Shealy was employed as a security officer with American Security and was a former employee of Clinton Mills. He was a member of the Community Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Barbra Morrow Shealy of the home; two sons, Chuck Shealy of Cross Hill, Don Shealy of Joanna; one daughter, Darlene Summers of Joanna; one sister, Peggy Ramey of Kings Mountain, NC; two grandsons, Stetson and Frankie Shealy and two granddaughters, Kyra Shealy and Kristen Revis.
He was predeceased by a son, Gerald Frank Shealy, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Aug. 4th at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
