Geraldine P. Hastings, age 70, of 100 Glendale Dr. Apt 16, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015, at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
She was born in Clinton, SC and was a daughter of the late Macon W. and Bernice Ellis Prather. She was an active member of the Open Door Ministries, and a member of the Open Door Chapel.
Ms. Hastings is survived by her son, Charles Brewington of Clinton; two daughters, Tabitha Perez of Gray Court, and Joyce Hastings of Laurens; four brothers, Randy Prather of Whitmire, Mitchell Prather of Mountville, Steve Prather of Whitmire, Myron Prather of Folly Beach; and a sister, Terry Boyter of Joanna; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two sisters Carol Prather Pressley, and Linda Knight.
She was also cared for by her niece and homecare provider, Adrienne Trammell of Clinton.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 2 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
