Gladys Gay
Gladys Gay, age 96, formerly of 306 Owings St. and widow of Walter Gay died Sunday, December 20, 2009 in the Laurens County Hospice House.
She was born in Tallapoosa, AL and was the daughter of the late Sam and Era Jones Dunaway.
Mrs. Gay was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Faye Deason of Laurens and Brenda Cumbie of Clinton; six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Bobby Jean White.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Laurens with interment in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
