Gladys Griffin Lambert, age 86 formerly of 339 Cathcart Circle and widow of Phillip Lambert, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in the Langston House in Clinton.
She was born in Cherokee, NC and was a daughter of the late Gaston and Maggie Martin Griffin.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith.
Surviving are three sons, Daniel (Joyce) Lambert of Simpsonville, Jeff (Patsy) Lambert of Whitmire and Norman (Linda) Lambert of Newberry; three daughters, Beatrice (James) Sparks of Texas, Phyllis Surrett of Clinton and Joyce (Thomas) Patterson of Laurens; eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 28th at 11:00 a.m. in Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens with burial in Westview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Laurens County, P.O. Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325.
The family will be at their respective homes.
