Glenn M. Brubaker

Glenn M. Brubaker, age 79, of Cross Hill, widower of Shirley Starnes Brubaker, passed away, Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Greenwood Regional Rehabilitation Hospital.

He was born on June 29, 1945 in North Lawrence, Ohio, and was the son of the late Oren and Inez Brubaker. Glenn was a US Navy Veteran and was an independent Little Debbie distributor in the Laurens and Clinton area for 26 years. Glenn loved to garden, work on cars, watch NASCAR and Gamecocks football. He was of the Baptist faith. 

Glenn is survived by his children, Debbie Vines (Russell) of Ninety-Six, Tammy Brubaker of Coronaca, Tommy Harris (Dianne) of Clinton, and Terri Dotson (Tim) of Waterloo; his son-in-law, Chris Laws of Mountville; his siblings, Earl Brubaker of Washington State, Richard Brubaker of Illinois, Willie Brubaker of Ohio, Dennis Brubaker of Atlanta, and Doris Motte of Wisconsin; thirteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, and his wife of 40 years, Glenn was preceded in death by his daughter, Angi Laws; and his sister, Alice Schrage. 

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Nancy Wicker, and Haven Reynolds, RN. with Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont, and the staff of Greenwood Regional Rehabilitation Hospital for their outstanding care, commitment, love and for going above and beyond for their dad. 

Funeral Services will be held, 11:00 AM, Monday, March 3, 2025 at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with Rev. Josh Harris officiating.

The family will receive family and friends Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
