Glenn O. Dellinger, age 88 and widower of Patty Wooten Dellinger passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Self Reginal Medical Center in Greenwood.
Mr. Dellinger was born in Kings Mountain, NC and was the son of the late Burgin and Annie Dellinger. He worked in textiles all his life and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Clinton.
Mr. Dellinger was survived by his son, Paul Dellinger and wife Ruby of Clinton; his daughter, Debbie Frisch of Lincolnton NC; brothers, Ralph Dellinger and Roger Dellinger both of Kings Mountain; his sister, Amelia Barnette of Kings Mountain; seven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; his and his numerous step-children, step-grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his children’s mother, Margaret Dellinger, his spouse Frances Nichols Dellinger; a daughter, Kay Taylor; his brothers, Dennis and Crayton Dellinger; his sister, Linda Arrowood, and a great grandson Hunter Wray.
Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 2 PM at Calvary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM.
