Grace Tankersley Bostic Brown

Grace Tankersley Bostic Brown left this world on February 9, 2019 in Union, South Carolina.
Grace was born on January 10, 1928 in Lee County, Virginia. At the age of twelve, her family moved to Whitmire, South Carolina. She remained a resident of Whitmire until September 2014 when she moved to Heartland Manor, Union, South Carolina.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Bostic Wix and husband David, step daughter Nancy Brown Nix and husband Dickie, and two sisters, Joyce Moore and Vema Flow. Grace has three surviving grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two husbands: Julian (Boots) Bostic and Walter Brown; her grandson, Mark Wix; four sisters and one brother.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Gray Funeral Home of Whitmire on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 5:30 PM.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the funeral home.
