Grace Crosby Watkins

Grace C. Watkins, age 89 formerly of Whitmire and widow of Eugene V. Deb Watkins, Sr. died Monday, October 23, 2006 in Montgomery, AL.
She was born in Spartanburg and lived in Whitmire most of her life. Mrs. Watkins was the daughter of the late Marion and Lila Bailey Crosby.
She was a former employee of J. P. Stevens and Whitten Center.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Janelle Brank of Montgomery, AL and Mrs. Shelby Sims of Boiling Springs; one brother, Dennis Crosby of Greenville, six grandchildren ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Eugene V. Deb Watkins, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Oct. 26th at 2:30 p.m. in Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Whitmire with burial in Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
The family will be at the home of her grandson, Chuck Sims, 205 Old Airport Rd., Whitmire, SC.
