Gracie Giles Baker

April 28, 1924 — June 4, 2011

Gracie Giles Baker, age 87 formerly of 311 Subertown Rd. and widow of John Milton Baker, died Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Lexington Medical Center.
She was born in Greenville, SC and was a daughter of the late L. F. and Elizabeth Smith Giles.
Mrs. Baker was retired from J.P. Stevens and a member of the Heritage Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are her son, Donald W. Baker, Sr. of Whitmire; a sister, Ruth Shealy of Mauldin; four grandchildren, Donald W. Baker, Jr. and wife, Jennifer, Ladonna Dickert and husband Scott, all of Whitmire, Kimberly Gault and husband James of Gaston, SC, Tina Griffin and husband, Bill of Silverstreet and nineteen great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Linda J. Baker.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 7th at 4:00 p.m. in the Masters Baptist Church by Rev. Todd Johnson, Rev. James T. Shealy and Rev. Wayne Tobias with burial in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday evening at the funeral home from 7:00 to9:00 p.m.
