Grady W. "Chip" Spires

Grady W. (Chip) Spires, age 66, of 206 Holmes Street, died Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the Hospice of Laurens County.
He was born in Joanna, and was the son of the late Grady W. Spires and Willie Mae Wofford Spires.
Surviving are brothers, Michael D. Spires and wife, Doris of Conyers, GA and Reginald Spires and wife, Cheryl of Birmingham, AL; one sister, Teresa Rolls and husband, Mel of Woodstock, GA; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Spires.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, Oct. 27th at 11:00 a.m. in the Rosemont Cemetery by Rev. J.D. Putman.
The family will receive friends at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Laurens County, P.O. Box 178, Clinton, SC 29325 or Laurens County Disabilities and Special Needs, P.O. Box 986, Laurens, SC 29360.
