Gussie G. Lawson

Gussie G. Lawson, age 81, widow of Keith Lawson, of 119 N. Church St. died Sunday, May 15, 2011 at her home.
She was born in Newberry, SC and was a daughter of the late Jerry Hamilton and Annie Mae McCumber Gresham.
Mrs. Lawson retired from J. P. Stevens, Whitmire Plant and was a member of Masters Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Wanda Gail Arant of Whitmire and Edith Dianne Gunter and husband, Bill of Greeneville, TN; a daughter-in-law, Linda Reid; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Steve Reid; a daughter, Annie Laura Reid; four brothers, Hubert Gresham, Preston Gresham, Walter Gresham and Tommy Gresham and two sisters, Martha Reid and Beatrice Nobles.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 18th at 3:00 p.m. at Masters Baptist Church with burial in Whitmire Cemetery.
The body will be at the home, 119 N. Church St., Whitmire, SC where the family will receive friends.
