Guy Adair Tumblin,Sr.

Guy Adair Tumblin, Sr. age 87 of 260 Medical Ridge Road died Monday,
June 15, 2009.
Mr. Tumblin was born in Laurens County and was a retired postal carrier.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was also Battery Commander with the National Guard in Clinton, and was a member of the American Legion.
Mr. Tumblin is survived by a son, Guy Tumblin, Jr. and wife, Leigh of Clinton; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Lee Barnett and his wife, Doris A. Tumblin.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, June 17th at 11:00 a.m. in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
The family will be at the home of his son at 102 South Holland Street in Clinton.
