Guy Wallace Putnam, age 67 of 4970 Hwy 72 West died Friday, March 12th at his home.
He was born in Lanford Station, SC and was the son of Sudie Seigler Putnam and the late Clyde Cooper Putnam.
Mr. Putnam was a retired store manager with Winn-Dixie Grocery Stores and was a member and trustee of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Carla Putnam of Clinton; one son, Kenny Putnam and wife, Kathy of Clinton; one step-son, Todd Minter and wife, Karen of Greenwood; one daughter, Karen McMorris of Clinton; five grandchildren, Nick Putnam of Raleigh, NC, Hayley Putnam of Clinton, Shawna McMorris of Clinton, Page Minter of Greenwood, Alex Gary of Clinton and his beloved cocker spaniel, Wacki.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, March 16th at 11:00 a.m. in the New Hope Baptist Church by Rev. Brian Wyatt.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church, Hwy 72 West, Clinton, SC 29325.
